Hello, my name is Captain John Losey and I run the E Sea Goin, a deep sea sport fishing vessel out of Ponce Inlet Florida. In my humble opinion I have one of the greatest jobs you could ask for and I love my work.

As a youngster I grew up in the Mid West, namely Iowa and Missouri where there just weren't that many good clean activities to do for kids except for fishing and hunting. I immediately took to fishing and hunting and it has been a major part of my life since I was a very young child. You could say it is in my blood now and while living in the Midwest I fished the Mississippi river, the Missouri River, and just about every single pond in between.

Then came my move down to the great state of Florida where I finally went fishing in the ocean for the first time. That was a great experience for a young man, enough so that I fell in love with Florida fishing right away. It left such an impression on me that to this day I can still remember the Captain's and first mates' names and exactly what I caught from that long ago. It was such a positive experience it played a big part in my decision to pursue a career as a charter boat Captain.

I worked my way up just like any profession and after working as a first mate for 4 years and as a commercial fisherman for a couple of years I finally got my USCG Captain's license.

My goal as a charter boat Captain has always been to take great people out fishing and try to make their fishing experience as great as my offshore sport fishing experience was when I went for the first time. I want to deliver a great fishing experience filled with great memories of you and your crew catching sportfish that will last a lifetime.

I have also fished the Great Lakes, the Bahamas along with the Mosquito Lagoon and the beautiful Florida Keys. I enjoy my work, who wouldn't enjoy being out on Florida's oceans everyday possible?
